Moscow and Regional Update

When looking at the Russian employment market in 2006 and early 2007 there are no big surprises for anyone who has been following it closely over the last few years — just as ever, companies are expanding across the board and faster than they can locate the specialists that they need. But at the same time there are signs of developing maturity and diversity. Salaries are rising on the back of overall economic stability, not just as a result of this being a job seeker's market, and are becoming more closely indexed to skills and experience. Given the high degree of dynamism and mobility, loyalty is increasingly important for employers. Ability is valued above anything else and most talent is now homegrown.

Ulrich F. Ackermann re-elected to AESC Board of Directors

TRANSEARCH International recently opened two offices in Russia: Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Stanislav Alexeyev, Managing Partner, has more than 14-years' experience in executive search. Stanislav has worked with several multinational as well as local search firms and established his own firm (Top Hunt International) in 2001. He has conducted search assignments all over Russia and has a civil engineering and business education background.

Olga Chebotkova manages the office in St. Petersburg. She has widespread experience gained from FMCG and has conducted numerous assignments for Russian and multinational companies. The teams in Moscow and St. Petersburg specialise in all the major sectors.
